Our Founder
With a background spanning over 20 years in sales recruiting and leadership, owner Gwen Payne embodies Synergy Sales Recruiting’s commitment to excellence. Her extensive experience provides clients and candidates with unmatched insights. Gwen’s dedication extends beyond recruitment—her personal touch, thorough research, and ethical approach have resulted in trusted relationships and a remarkable track record of success.
Gwen Payne purchased Synergy Sales Recruiting, Inc. in January 2003, rebranding the company as Synergy Sales Recruiting of Louisiana, LLC. Since then, her company has served the business community, as well as job seekers, with her emphasis on excellence. She specializes in the placement of sales and sales management professionals with local and national companies in the Medical, Pharmaceutical, and B2B markets.
Based in New Orleans, Gwen works with clients and candidates across the entire country. She is an award-winning affiliate of First Interview, the largest network of recruiting firms in the United States.
Prior to purchasing Synergy, Gwen had spent five years as a recruiter in Kansas City, followed by 18 years as Learning and Performance Improvement Manager and Sales / Sales Management Trainer with a major international corporation, Newark Electronics, in Chicago.
On a personal note, Gwen has been a runner most of her life. She is a 50 States Marathon Club Certified Finisher, having completed a marathon (26.2-mile race) in all 50 states plus Washington DC. In all, she has completed a total of 60 marathons and over 25 half-marathons (13.1-mile race).
